This week I participated in the annual plein air event sponsored by the Chincoteague Cultural Alliance.  Fortunately the hotel balcony provided a great view of the water and boats at the dock. (c) 2016 Charles Snell.

Little Darby Creek

In Skunk Hollow, there is a bridge over the Little Darby Creek.  I chose the view upstream to paint.  I propped up my easel on the bridge railing and was in the shade on a hot summer day. (c) 2016 Charles Snell.

Lambertville Station

Painted en plein air during a June 2012 weeklong painting workshop with Ken DeWaard.  The scene shows the Lambertville Station restaurant and was painted from a spot along the Delaware and Raritan canal trail in Lambertville, New Jersey.  Copyright 2012 Charles Snell.
