This painting was one of my entries at the
Bayonet Farm Arts and Music Festival, held on September 22, 2013 in Holmdel, New Jersey. It was painted
en plein air, and was awarded the "Killian's Vanishing Landscape Award." The medium density fiberboard (MDF) panel was toned with a mixture of acrylic gesso, powdered marble and a warm acrylic color. Some of the tone shows through in the foreground. Copyright 2013 Charles Snell.
