The oil painting was started as a plein air study on a rainy February day.  The larger watercolor was completed in a workshop led by Mick McAndrews.  The smaller watercolor was created after the workshop with a different color scheme.  For each painting, the surface is 140# watercolor paper, initially coated with two coats of Golden brand gloss polymer varnish.
